White Horse Award Nominees

with Pat Day in Santa Anita!

It was awesome for Pat Day and Dr. Torres to come and join the group along with former RTCA President Don Dean (on far left) gathered here in the hotel lobby, where Pat Day visited with the nominees and had a intimate talking time with the group along with prayer! Chaplain Pete Criswell joined the group and gave a devotion on Sunday morning before the group began returning to their home tracks in Louisiana, West Vrigina and Pennsylvania. Chaplain DiDonato and his wife also attended the White Horse Awards as well.

RTCA President Chaplain Waverly Parsons (also Chaplain at the Fairgrounds) was able to join the White Horse Nominees at a celebration dinner. He is wearing the VRM Crisis Response Shirt. We gave a presentation at the White Horse Awards where we wore the yellow shirts and talked about the work and deployments of our Chaplains through the White Horse Riders Crisis Response Teams.
It was a wonderful time with the White Horse Award nominees at the award presentation and Breeders' Cup and all the other places and time we spent together- over 20 people in all were hosted!
