The RTCA National White Horse Evangelism team of Pat Day, Chaplain Ted Carreras and Edward Smith rolled into the track to join Chaplain Ray & Lynn Bartram for an incredibly blessed night.

Standing room only at the Altar!

On May 12th, 2008 the Lord of the Harvest sent the Holy Spirit to the RTCA White Horse Event held at Evangeline on a beautiful night. Just over 100 race track workers gathered for the outdoor event set up just outside the chaplaincy building. As Pat Day gave the altar call an incredible 60 of the 100 people moved forward to proclaim Jesus Christ as their Savior.

Chaplain Ray Bartram, Bi-lingual Pastor Felipe Davila and Edward Smith prayed over the new believers as they moved into the chapel to receive words of encouragement from RTCA President Chaplain Waverly, Pat Day and Kevin Thornton. They also signed up for the discipleship program ALPHA. The special eight week bible course they will begin on May 26 at Evangeline Downs and May 27 at the Training Center. Keep these new brothers and sisters in your prayers as they begin their journey of growing in their knowledge of Christ and how to apply it in their lives, their families, in their work and to those all around them!
